3. No Religious or Financial Liability

Calculating Zakat is a religious duty. While we base our rules on established Islamic jurisprudence (primarily Hanafi Fiqh), MyZakatCalc does not issue religious Fatwas or certified financial advice.

  • We are not responsible for any underpayment or overpayment of Zakat resulting from the use of our tool.
  • We are not responsible for any discrepancies in income tax calculations or legal wealth declarations based on the output of our calculator.
  • If you have complex business structures, we urge you to consult a local Mufti or a certified Chartered Accountant.

4. Live API & Third-Party Services

Our calculator may use third-party APIs (such as GoldBroker) to fetch live spot prices of Gold and Silver. We do not guarantee the 100% uptime, accuracy, or reliability of these external APIs. Users are always advised to manually enter the exact buying/selling rates provided by their local jewelers for maximum accuracy.
